I am so excited to share with you my take on the novel “Red Sparrow” written by Jason Matthews. It’s one of those novels that once you’ve read the first paragraph, you can’t put it down.
This is the first book of the trilogy and I highly recommend if you are into spy, espionage thrillers. Also, if you have flairs and talent in the kitchen, the author has added interesting recipes for you to try. 🐼🫕
As you delve into the intrigues of espionage and the fight for survival, here’s a joke from the book that I find hilarious …
“A frightened man came to the KGB. ‘My talking parrot disappeared,’ he said. ‘This is not our case,’ says the KGB, ‘go to the criminal police.’ ‘Excuse me,’ says the man. ‘Of course I know I have to go to the criminal police. I am here just to tell you officially that I disagree with that parrot.’ ”
