I am a bookworm by nature. I am curious about the world that I am currently inhabiting and coexisting with other beings and phenomenons.

In my journeys, I often come across priceless gems that have enriched my life and jolted me out of a deep slumber and lethargy of the mundaneness of everyday life.

I love books! Especially those books that leave indelible marks in my mind, the ones that stirs my soul.

I love watching movies that are funny, exciting, the ones that have depths, plots, characters, actions, etc., and KDramas.

I love watching YouTube channels that are thought provoking, informative and awe-inspiring.

What I don’t like: 

Wasting time in reading books that supposedly have good reviews but poorly written; or watching movies that won so many awards and appeared everywhere on social media but are flops; or YouTube channels that splurged with stock photos, videos and ill-equipped narrations.

Time is scarce. It’s finite.

 If you are into action-packed Korean series or movies, I would recommend “Bloodhounds”. It is a roller coaster ride of nonstop action, calculated cunning and tense-white knuckles. It portrays a world of betrayals, loan sharks, corruption and greed. Although “Bloodhounds” is fictional, there are many aspects of the mini-series that I feel are so close to what is rampant in our society. Sit back, relax and let “Bloodhounds” take you on a nonstop adrenaline rush! Side note: The acting is superb, realistic fast-paced fighting, and nice touch of added humour. 🏅Rating: 8.5/10

 I am so excited to share with you my take on the novel “Red Sparrow” written by Jason Matthews. It’s one of those novels that once you’ve read the first paragraph, you can’t put it down. This is the first book of the trilogy and I highly recommend if you are into spy, espionage thrillers. Also, if you have flairs and talent in the kitchen, the author has added interesting recipes for you to try. 🐼🫕 As you delve into the intrigues of espionage and the fight for survival, here’s a joke from the book that I find hilarious … “A frightened man came to the KGB. ‘My talking parrot disappeared,’ he said. ‘This is not our case,’ says the KGB, ‘go to the criminal police.’ ‘Excuse me,’ says the man. ‘Of course I know I have to go to the criminal police. I am here just to tell you officially that I disagree with that parrot.’ ” I hope you enjoy this novel as much as I did. I would really love to hear from you and have a wonderful day. E.T.
